Famous Australian Cricketer Shane Warne is “no more”

Shane Warne, the Australian Cricketer. A legend of cricket world passed away today. It is said that he had a sudden heart attack. He was an iconic Cricketer who was famous for his leg spin. He was one of the greatest bowlers of his time. it was found lying in his villa on the ground unconsciously. Shane Warne was on holiday in Kou Samui, Thailand.

Besides doing best efforts of the doctors, his life cannot be saved. He passed away at just an age of 52. His family has requested of some private time and they will provide further details in due course.

Early age of Shane Warne

Australian Cricketer Shane Keith Warne born on 13 September 1969 Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia and died on 4 March 2022 at Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand at the age of 52.

He who was one of the greatest bowlers in cricket history. He have captained as the Australian National Team in the ODI ( One Day Internationals). His nickname was “Warnie” .

His first test debut on 2 January 1992 vs India. He was once banned from Cricket in 2003 because he was tested positive for a prohibited substance.
He was retired from the international cricket in January 2007.

What was the reason behind his sudden death?

Shane Warne’s Manager Michael Cohen said, it was a suspected heart attack.
According to the Thai police Warne was staying in a private villa with his 3 other friends.

So at the time of dinner when Shane Warne didn’t came for dinner then one of his friends gone to call him.
When they found him in such condition they called at the hospital and then an ambulance came and took him to the hospital. There the doctors did CRP for 5-10 minutes. After that he died.
The police still doesn’t know the actual reason of death but they are not treating this death as a suspicious death.

This shocking news came few hours after the death of another famous icon, who was also an Australian Cricketer Rod Marsh. He also got a heart attack only. His age was 74.

His Relationship with Indian Team

After his retirement from international cricket, he played a final session at Hampshire in 2007, before his retirement from the first class cricket.
He had a deep connection with India. He played the first four seasons of Indian Premiere League from the year 2008-2011) for the team named Rajasthan Royals . In this team he played the role of captain as well as of the mentor of the team. He also made his team as the winners team in the final of 2008 against the Chennai Super Kings.
Again in the year of 2018 February, Shane Warne was appointed as a mentor of the team Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2018.
In 2012, he was included in the Cricket Hall Of Fame by Australian Cricketer.
After this he was inducted in the ICC Cricket Hall Of Fame in the year 2013.

Up’s and down’s of His life

Shane Warne also have to struggle with his health issues,like overweight, over alcoholic and fitness.
In 2000, he have to loose his post of vice-captain of Australian team when he have send some erotic text messenge to a British nurse.

Other than the cricket world

Outside the cricket Warne was constantly worked on as a cricket commentator on Australia’s Nine Network.

He continued his commentary during his whole one year ban from the cricket in 2003.

After that in 2005 they announced that they will not extend the contract with Warne of commentatory due to some incident which had happened in his personal life.

Later on in the year 2008, he again rejoined the Nine Network and continued as a member of its commentary team till 2018 when it finally lost the rights of broadcasting.

Besides this he was also signed by * Sky Sports* and Fox Cricket in 2009 and 2018 respectively. He worked with box Sky Sports and Fox Cricket up to his death.
